Probably the hardest page to write on a website, what can I put on here that makes me sound interesting and doesn't make me sound boring?

I'll give it a go. Well lets start with a couple of pics, this is me. If you want to see a nude pic, well too bad, I'm not getting my dick out for all to see.

Ok lets start with fact number 1, I'm gay.

I've been out since March 2000 and all my family and friends know. The reaction was mixed but at least you get to find out who your friends are. If you want to know more about my history then see the 'My Life' section.

Fact number 2, I'm recently single so not looking for a boyfriend right now, but some fun wouldn't go amiss.

Fact number 3, umm, hmmmm, well. OK cant think of anymore important facts right now but they may come in time.

Work - Spent far too long trying to sell insurance to people who didn't really want it before being asked to help test a new computer system that the company I worked for was introducing, 'It'll only be for 6 months' they said. 2 and half years later I was still testing the damn thing and thought sod it, I can earn far more doing this somewhere else. So I left and joined a software and systems management firm, was seconded to BT for a year, but again felt I could do better so found another job with an American software house which develops software for the Mobile Telecomms Industry, I got made redundant end of March 2003 and presently looking for employment as well as enjoying a well deserved rest.

Interests, in no particular order:-

Sci Fi and Fantasy, particularly though not limited to Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon5, Lord of the Rings and the Discworld books. I like to read as my collection of books will show. (Oh my god, I hear you cry, computer geek into sci-fi, avoid, avoid. Please don't avoid, I am relatively normal.)

Sport, like to watch football, especially when my team are on (no I'm not going to tell you which one, cos you'll take the piss), also like to watch Rugby Union. Do you think it has something to do with all those men running around in shorts playing with balls?

Keeping fit, I try to keep fit and I often go cycling, nothing like pulling on those tight lycra cycling shorts and hitting the cycle path that runs between Bristol and Bath

Music, varied tastes, but my favourites being rock and cheesy/camp pop. Anything from Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi and Queen to Abba and Kylie (and I suppose Steps). Growing up in the 80's also means I love 80's music. I have been known to listen to some classical music sometimes though I draw the line at opera.

Going out, what do I like to when I go out? Well, I enjoy going out on the scene in Bristol, though I tend to stick to either the Pineapple, the Queenshilling or Vibes. I have been to most of the other gay venues in Bristol, but they don't appeal. I have also been to many of the venues in Cardiff, yet to decide on any preferences there. I also enjoy going the cinema and live shows.

Staying in, yes I love quiet nights in cuddled up on the sofa with someone I love, watching dvd's and relaxing in their arms, candles shedding a soft glow over the room. OK so I can be a bit soppy sometimes.

Travel, there are a few places I would really like to go sometime in my life, these are:-

California, because I want to be in movies, just kidding, but it is a place I'd love to visit especially San Francisco.

Canada, yeah ok it's a large country but any part of it will do for a start.

Hawaii, oh come on, who wouldn't want to go there.

New Zealand, a lovely looking country and the fact I want to go has nothing to do with sheep. It has been an intended destination even before I saw the Lord of the Rings films, they just want to make me go even more.
