| Tony |
Tony was my
boyfriend for 3 years, from July 2000 to July 2003. Unfortunately we
grew apart towards the end of the relationship and we decided that if we
were to remain friends then it would be better if split up. We had a
wonderful 3 years together and I don't regret a minute of it. He is one
the most kind, considerate and honest people I know. Thanks for a great
time Tony, you made me very happy. I hope we have many, many more years of
friendship. |

Hugh,

I've known Hugh
for over 3 years now and during that time he has become my closest
gay friend. We've been through so many things at the same time, it's uncanny,
but I think that's why there is such a strong bond between us. He
certainly means a lot to me and hopefully we will always be there
for each other in the future as we have been in the past.
Hugh is currently with his new boyfriend
Leigh, I have to say they make a very cute couple.
Despite the age
difference we are quite alike, especially when it comes to our love
for sci-fi. We've spent many evenings watching my video collection.
Hugh's web page is at www.liquidnation.co.uk.

| Gary
|
Gary
- You may have already read about Gary in the 'My
Life' section, well this is him, cute eh? It's a good thing I'm not
allergic to cats, he had 4. He seems to be even more into sci-fi than I
am.
We have lost touch lately but I will always remember him
fondly.

Andrew |
Andrew - aka Drewster,
he seems to know everyone out on the scene, especially if they are a)
cute b) slim and c) under 25.
A good friend and
a lovely guy who is now back from his travels and working in London.
It's always good to see him on his return to Bristol.
|
 |
| Paul
- Just goes to show that not all my friends are younger than me. Paul is
a wonderful guy, always ready to give advice, counsel or generally take
the piss out of anyone. He has helped me and many others in the past, one
of lifes genuine good guys. |

Steve
|
Steve - Since I've
known Steve he has moved around a bit (no, not "been around a bit")
and is now living in Cardiff. He has an odd sense of humour which can
often surprise you but he is very witty and funny.
The picture on the
right shows Steve on his knees in a darkened room. I'd like to point out
that this is not a normal state of affairs.

Ritch
|
Ritch - I got to know
Ritch through another friend and he is also a good friend to me and Tony. He is
very down to earth and has one of the cutest arses I have ever seen
(covered of course).
Ritch is at University
in Manchester studying medicine and enjoying student life.

| Dan
Before |
Dan - Dan is a good friend currently studying in Manchester, he is not
originally from Bristol, but has grown to love it here. Dan used to have long shoulder length hair, but I think he looks much better
shorter.

Tim
|
Tim - also known to
me as 'bruv', seeing as we were once mistaken for brothers, must have
been something to do with the bleached blond hair in the same hairstyle
and the fact we both had black t-shirts on at the time, cant see a resemblance
myself. Besides, his hair is so much nicer than mine. Any anyway, I've
gone for a new shorter style now so the resemblance is not noticeable.
And no, Tim isn't
Mr Gay UK, but wearing the sash he borrowed from Big Dan (see below) kept
him happy for a few seconds.
|
 |
|
Big Dan, so called
to differentiate him from other Dans I know and due to the fact his is
6' 4" and extremely well muscled. He has become a lot more relaxed
since his first time out on the scene and is a honest and gentle guy.
Dan was a finalist
in the Mr Gay UK competition 2 years running but unfortunately didn't
win, he got my vote though.

Paul

Another Paul and one I have a lot in common
with. We were both married and we even worked for the same company at one
time (oh yeah and there is the liking for guys in leather jeans too, but I better
not mention that).
A really nice guy who I can always turn to.

Nico is a lovely Italian
guy with the cutest Italian accent. He's lived in the UK for about 3 years.
He's really come out of his shell since I have known him and it is always
good to see him. He wasn't too keen on the English when he first arrived
here but now it seems he cant get enough of English guys now :-)
He doesn't like this
pic of him but I think it's cool.

|
Alex - A really lovely
guy and a natural linguist who speaks several languages including Japanese,
wow. Just needs to work on his English, hee hee, just kidding. He's a bundle
of cuteness and loveliness rolled into one, bless. He is currently
learning to drive so watch out those of you who drive around Bristol.

Matt |
 |
 |
 |
|
This is Matt, who
I met through a very strange quirk of fate. He was in a chat room when
he "accidentally" whispered Big Dan (well he claims it was accidental).
Anyway, Dan invited Matt to London Mardi Gras, there was just one problem,
Dan would already be in London and be heavily involved with Mr Gay UK
and Matt had no one else to go with. Then fate stepped in (well, actually
I logged on) and Dan asked me to meet Matt at Paddington Station, which
we did and since then Matt has become a good friend. He can often be
found behind the bar at Vibes at the weekend.

| Jamie
|
Jamie has fast become one on my best friends
since I first met him in September 2001.
He is yet another
guy I met chatting online who has become friends. Within 24 hours of meeting
me, where he took me to one of his local pubs, he was in a gay pub in
Bristol for the first time and he loved it, although that might have been
due to the large amount of 'Dutch courage' consumed before hand.
He is a great guy and will do anything for
his friends, like fixing the brakes on my car.
|
 |
| This
is Dan (yes another one, that makes 6 gay Dans I know now, must be something
to do with the name) I started chatting to him whilst he is in Hong Kong,
but he has returned to this country now. He is a real sweet guy, very friendly,
shy and sensitive. Oh and like any gay guy, he loves to shop. |

Joe
is another guy I met through chatting online. I'm pleased to say he is as nice face to face as he is
online. A
really nice guy who is also a real good friend.
Joe
lives Oxford so we don't get to see him that often, but it is always
nice when we do. He loves Tenerife and goes there whenever he gets
the chance, I think it's just an excuse to keep his tan topped up and show off his body :-)

Steve
|
I got to know Steve, along with his (now
ex) boyfriend Gil (below) when they lived in Bristol for a few months.
Unfortunately the relationship didn't last and Gil moved back to
Brazil. They tried to get back together again when Steve followed Gil
to Brazil but it didn't work out. I guess some things are not meant to
be.
I always got on well with Steve,
probably something to do with the fact we had a lot in common. Sci-fi
springs to mind. What is it about gay guys and a love for Sci-fi?
|
|
|
Gil is one of the sweetest
guys I know and has a lovely Brazilian accent. I certainly miss seeing
him around now he has moved back to Brazil but we hope to meet up again
one day.
Gil and Tony got on really
well, they are similar in a lot of ways and they both have a love of
different foods.

Bradlee
|
I met Brad shortly before
he started going out with Matt (above). Unfortunately they have now
split up but remain good friends. Brad
is either eccentric, mad or insane or maybe all three, but if you ever
need a party to liven up just invite Brad along and you'll have a great
time. Brad loves to
decorate where he lives and he certainly has an eye
for design. His hair also underwent a few colour changes this year but
is now back to his usual short length.

Hayden is a
really nice guy with a wonderfully camp personality
as well as being a great piano player. He sent me the MP3 to prove it (I hope that
was him playing anyway, hee hee) We
lost touch for a while but I'm pleased that we are now chatting again.
He hasn't met up with the
other guys yet but I'm sure it wont be long before we take him
clubbing where I'm sure he will be very popular. |

Hugh
with Leigh
|
At the time of writing this I have only known
Leigh for a few months, since he started going out with Hugh. I think
they make a lovely couple and I am hoping they have a long and happy
relationship. They certainly make each other happy and suit each other
well.
It's also nice to see Leigh fitting in so
well with Hugh's friends. It's not always easy joining a group a friends
who have known each other for a long time but Leigh has done just that.
|
|
|
Lei is a great guy who is unfortunately
stuck in mid Wales, hopefully that will change in the not too distant
future and he can be somewhere where he is able to be more
himself.
We've a lot in common from liking the
same type of music to tv programmes to clothing (have you spotted he's
wearing leather jeans yet?) and we seem to end up chatting for hours
online.
His ability to quote whole pages of
dialogue from Ab Fab or Monty Python knows no end and will certainly
help in his aim of a career in theatre and drama. Pass the Bolly
darling. |

Amy
and Iain
|
This
is Amy and Iain, my ex work colleagues from the place where we were all
made redundant. I still them out on the scene and it's great to
catch up with them when I do.
They have both helped me with advice and friendship when
I've needed it, thank you to you both.

ages, but have not met yet.
