"I would
like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey"
The Criminologist
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show

These
are my historical or maybe hysterical pictures from my past.
They
cover my life up to the end of 2000

The is
the oldest picture of me I could find, I must have been about 5 years old
at the time, such a skinny little fella, and more of a natural blond in
those days. The picture was taken in a friends garden. |
| This was
my cat, Pip, I had him from when he was a kitten until he died at the grand
old age of 14. A very affectionate cat, but like all cats, did exactly what
he wanted when he wanted. I'm amazed he stayed still long enough for me
to actually take a picture. |

This was Star, the
Irish setter that was really my mum's dog, but was loved by everyone,
except Pip of course, they never got on. When we brought Star into the
house as a puppy, Pip came to investigate this new addition to the family,
they both sniffed at each other, then suddenly Pip swiped Star across
the nose with his paw, it wasn't a hard swipe but it let Star know who
was boss.
Star was a really
soppy dog, and so loveable and friendly. Sadly she died aged only 7.

| Moving
on a few years now, this is me when I was 19, no honestly, it is me. It
was taken in the South of France when I went on one of those adventure type
holidays, I must have enjoyed it because I went back again next year.
|
 |
 |
An early
attempt at bondage? No, abseiling out of a building in France, again on
the same adventure holiday. Anyone who makes comments about shiny red helmets
will be shot. Crap picture but I thought I would include it to give you
a laugh. |
| Somewhere
up a mountain in France, this was after I managed to twist my knee on the
very first day. Luckily I recovered after a day or two and was able to continue
enjoy the rest of the holiday, the only thing is, I've not skied since. |

 |
This is
me about 10 years ago, which prompted this comment from one of my friends,
"Awww, you were cute back then". A double edged compliment I think.
You cant really tell from the picture but I was dying my hair back then
too, it had recently been highlighted, but not to the extent it is these
days. In case you are wondering, the shirt was just as hideous as the jumper,
luckily you cant see much of it. |

On
my way to Spain, by ferry, it took quite a while but seeing as it was
a free trip, I wasn't going to worry about that, after all I had my book
to read. And yes they are leather jeans. I have been known to wear them
in the Queen Shilling too, they have quite an effect.

Same trip
to Spain, same leather jeans :-) different T shirt though. The trip came
free with a shower that we bought. It seemed like a good idea at the time
although the crossing was a rough on the way out and we didn't get long
in Spain, only a few hours. The weather wasn't brilliant either. |

This is the life.
Somewhere in the Caribbean 1996.
Hammocks
may be awkward to get into sometimes, but once you are in, very
comfortable.

 |
Gran
Canaria 1999, head in a book (again) and a very shiny shirt. This was before
I came out and a friend of mine has suggested that my clothes came out of
the closet before I did. |

He sings, he dances,
ok maybe I dont, but I can cook, even if on this occasion it was sausages
wrapped in bacon for Christmas 2000. I cooked the turkey too. And
you havn't lived until you have tried my lasagne, well, Tony likes it.
